What is a season subscription?

A season subscription provides the greatest ticket discounts, personalized assistance from our friendly Audience Services staff, and a ticket to all three mainstage operas in our season! Select the seating area and series that best suits your schedule and budget.

Mainstage operas are performed at the Citi Performing Arts Center^SM Shubert Theatre, 265 Tremont Street, Boston. The theatre is not completely accessible. There is no elevator access to the mezzanine or balcony. Wheelchair seating is available in the orchestra only.

About the Citi Performing Arts Center^SM Shubert Theatre:

The Citi Performing Arts CenterSM Shubert Theatre is an intimate setting that offers an up-close-and-personal opera experience. The 1,500 seat theatre shines with its original early-1900s style of a soft-white palette with delicate gold accents and plush red carpeting. Seating is also reminiscent of that era. The balcony, which offers a lofty view, is reached by a long flight of stairs. There is not any elevator access. Accessible seating is available on the Orchestra level.

Refreshments are available before each performance and during intermissions. Outside food and beverages are not permitted, nor is photography or videography of any kind. The curtain rises promptly at 7:30pm for evening shows and 3pm for Sunday matinees.
