It’s Boston Lyric Opera’s 2008–2009 Season, our 32nd year of fully staged and fabulous opera in Boston. We are thrilled to present some rarely performed beauties from the repertoire. This season, unforgettable characters are so mesmerized by love, desperation or hubris that they break through the boundaries of everyday life. That means anything can happen.
