The Magic Flute
By Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

The quest for enchanting music ends here. Filled with breathtaking music and a healthy dose of comedy, The Magic Flute celebrates the triumph of courage, virtue, and wisdom through fairy tale elements, magical instruments, a wicked queen, and a handsome prince. In this ultimate rescue story, the stalwart Prince Tamino and the zany bird catcher Papageno quest to save the princess Pamina, the lovely daughter of the Queen of the Night. They find not only Pamina, but the truth as well.

“It was my first opera and it was so awesome!! My favorite part was when the Queen of the Night came out with all those sound effects, it was almost like it was real.”
-Cara James, Ashford Elementary School
“With a full cast and talented singers, The Magic Flute was brilliant. The cast of eight played the story and sang with exceptional talent. Too bad Mozart was not here to listen to his masterpiece.”
-Seda Babroud, Lincoln Middle School
