Thank you to everyone who attended the February 13, 2008 “musical Valentine” Soiree d’amore, co-hosted by Jane Roy at her elegant historic home on Commonwealth Avenue and chaired by the BRAVO! Advisory Group. The stars of the event were BLO young artists Sarah Asmar and Matthew DiBattista, who performed excerpts from BLO’s March 2008 production L’elisir d’amore (The Elixir of Love). Their breathtaking and heart rendering performances appropriately reflected the fundraising aspect of the event to support BLO’s Fund for Emerging Artists.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed sparkling Elixir of Love cocktails and savory hors d’oeuvres that captured the Valentine's theme as well as the Middle American and Italian flavors of L’elisir d’amore. Beverages and food were generously provided by Barefoot Wines, Harpoon Brewery and Catered Affair.
