PAST BRAVO! EVENTS
Don’t take our word for it! Here’s what current members have to say about BRAVO!

“It's so easy to be intimidated by opera, particularly if you know nothing about it. That's what is so great about the BRAVO! group. Attending a BRAVO! event is a terrific way to learn more about everything opera-related, from the stories behind the songs to the right outfit to wear to a performance. Young professionals can use BRAVO! to make opera a significant part of their life, to simply give them another option for something to do on a weekend, or even just to socialize at a party with other young art-lovers. It's an open, dynamic, and very fun group!”

“Opera is an incredibly moving emotional roller coaster that many people in my age group don't yet appreciate because they've never actually attended a performance. The intensity of the music, voices and storyline absolutely penetrate the very core of your being. I think once we get more young people in the door, they will be instantly hooked.”

“The music itself is wonderful in portraying the spectrum of emotions--love, loss, exuberance. But it's more than that; there are the beautiful sets and costumes, the stories and even, at times, the comedy. Going to the opera is always a dramatic and elevating experience.”
